| | The General--Disbatch | ] | Well, some people have been whining that I haven't posted in a while, so here I am.
Hmm, what's new with me? Let's see. The last show went well. Some weird audiences, but overall it was great. I miss my hair though. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY thinks it looks better. My head is cold.
The Superbowl. I could try to write something, but instead, how about I just quote my recent newspaper article:
"Colts win. This is good. Almost optimal. I didn't lose a 10-1 off bet against a Bear's victory made in Semptember. The only way the game could have been better is if, instead of winning the MVP, Peyton Manning had been sniped by a disgruntled Jaguars fan(Note: this editor does not support terrorism. Unless it's against Peyton Manning. And perhaps Luc Longley. Didn't that guy just rub you the wrong way? Was that just me? I digress) The highlight of the night was Rex Grossman turning out to be the fourth best QB shown throwing a pass. Peyton clearly comes in at number one, while Brett Favre's commercialized pass to himself and Phil Simms' highlight graphic beat out Rex for two and three respectively. Way to lose the game for you tream buddy. As a Packers' fan, you're MVP in my book."
Side note: can you believe they let me write? Seriously. And next year I'm head editor. No joke. And to think I also used the phrase "freezing balls" later in the article. Sheesh. But anywho, yea, the game. I thought poor Jims was going to capitulate in front of us all. There were some scary moments, but in the end, it's Jims who's eating the tasty Rex sucks crow. How is it pal?
Speaking of sports, pitchers and catchers reported this week. Is it bad the Cubs are already fucking up? How hard is it to see that Z is one of the top 5 pitchers in the game right now. For the love of the God, give the big man what he wants, just don't let him fucking leave Wrigley. And Kerry Wood falling out of a bathtub on the day he's supposed to report? How much bad luck can one man get? Christ.
Speaking of Christ(I am segue awesome tonight), our spring musical is set to be Godspell. After a crazy couple nights of auditions, I am going to be portraying none other than Judas Iscariot. To my chagrin, every single person that's heard the news goes, "Yea, I totally see that". It's mildly depressing.
Valentine's Day has come and gone. My apologies to those who may be single and reading this, but since it's really my first time having a significant other on the big day, let me just say, it feels amazing. Amazing in the kind of way that I don't want to hide all day and/or jump off a tall building(i.e. the water tower, as somebody special used to say). Then today, we went to see "Music and Lyrics". It wasn't bad. I like Hugh Grant and have always enjoyed the work of Brad Garrett, but Drew Barrymore has always bothered me. Her face is just...ugh. But overall, a decent movie. Cheesy and chick flicky as one would expect, but I give it a B+.
Ok, I've talked enough. Here's a few good quotes from recent days:
"If you would just stop existing, I would stop falling for you."--look, I waxed philosophical!
"Unfortunately for you bitch, I'm Jim Crowe."--me to black pitcher in Wii Baseball
Re: Ghostrider BJ: how could you fall asleep? there's a flaming skull and a chain and a motorcycle...what part of that is sleep inducing? Melissa: exactly...all of it...and it's nicholas cage lol BJ: how can you fall asleep to a flaming skull? what part of FUCKING SKULL ON FIRE is boring?
I'm out! Puma Power!

I finally learned to move on! Nah, staying busy is key, that's what I learned.
33. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
I'm tempted to put the lyrics to "Code Monkey", but instead here's "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds
I don't get many things right the first time In fact, I am told that a lot Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls Brought me here
And where was I before the day That I first saw your lovely face? Now I see it everyday And I know
That I am I am I am The luckiest
What if I'd been born fifty years before you In a house on a street where you lived? Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike Would I know?
And in a white sea of eyes I see one pair that I recognize And I know
That I am I am I am The luckiest
I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you
Next door there's an old man who lived to his nineties And one day passed away in his sleep And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days And passed away
I'm sorry, I know that's a strange way to tell you that I know we belong That I know
That I am I am I am The luckiest |

Some neutral [people] commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They are of the true neutral alignment as described in Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.
A true neutral [person] sees good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. He advocates the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run.
Some true neutral [people] actively support balance in the world, and seek to avoid having any one side, law or chaos, good or evil, become too powerful over them or anyone else, and will work against whichever side is the most powerful. They tend to side with the underdog in any situation, and are often opportunistic in their actions.
True neutral is committed to the avoidance of extremes, and is non-judgemental.
Side-Note from Xan81:
Due to your Neutrality, I would really, really LOVE your feedback. Not that I don't want feedback from members of the other alignments, but a True Neutral's feeback is typically NOT emotionally, morally, politically, or socially charged. Please send me an email! I have it set to automatically email me when someone gets this score, so I know who you are ;) True Neutrals are the classic, "I just don't give a shit" alignment, and I fully understand if you don't feel that you have any responsability or obligation to sending an email/comment. Even if you did, I'm sure you'd have some difficulty in deciding what to comment about. But, I guess that depends on your tendencies :D Xan
Other Alignments and Tendencies (Tendenices are what you would more often sway towards; esp. for Neutrals):
0-39% Good, 0-39% Chaotic:Lawful-Evil
0-39% Good, 40-60% Chaotic: Neutral-Evil
0-39% Good, 61-100% Chaotic: Chaotic-Evil
40-60% Good, 0-39% Chaotic: Lawful-Neutral
40-60% Good, 61-100% Chaotic: Chaotic-Neutral

61-100% Good, 40-60% Chaotic: Neutral-Good
61-100% Good, 61-100% Chaotic: Chaotic-Good |
 |
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 33% on Good | | You scored higher than 49% on Chaotic |
|
...Interesting. Look, Canada's on my list! Weird that I am apparently the one alignment I've never played... |
